About the center
The establishment of Research Center for Joint Diseases between Humans and Animals was officially approved in the 244th session of Council for the Development of Medical Universities of the Country held on 09/28/2011. The ultimate goal of Zoonosis Research Center of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences is to become the most important center of its kind in the country. This would be happened by using new technologies, participation of professors, researchers and students inside and outside the country and make effective cooperation with other national and international scientific research centers by conducting basic and applied research projects in the field of common diseases of humans and animals with full observance of ethics in research, rule of law and preservation of human dignity.
The mission of the Research Center for Joint Diseases between Humans and Animals (as one of the research centers of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences) is to form an efficient, up-to-date and active research in the field of common diseases of humans and animals, with reference to national and regional policies and priorities.
